Sky Garden

Sky Garden | London 

I have a long list of places I need to visit in London and when I was asked by my friend if I wanted to visit the Sky Garden, I jumped at the chance.

If you like me, are used to London and it’s very expensive prices you will be shocked to hear that the Sky Garden is actually free, yes you heard me, free. ( You do need to book time slots, so plan ahead to avoid dissapointment)

The Garden is quite minimalistic in terms of plants (I'm no expert), so any gardeners out there might be disappointed in that aspect. The View though is what will take your breath away, so you'll soon forget about the lack of shrubbery. 

Those of you who can't go without food for about five minutes, yes thats me, there is also a nice cafe which serves swanky looking cocktails and coffee. If you're feeling a bit more fancy though, there is the Darwin Brasserie which serves delicious looking food. 

So next time you're in the city take a look and let me know your thoughts. 

(I should mention, this is probably not a place for the vertigo suffers, my friend found out the hard way. Sorry Ed!)
