Manicures, cuticle care, nail vitamins are
all things you wouldn’t associate with male grooming. Barry M however have
created a unisex nail care and varnish range, designed to get men and women
into looking after their nails.
If you are a serial nail biter and want to
transform your hands, these products could be the answer. The range includes
four products designed to condition and strengthen nails whilst also improving their appearance.
The two nail care products are The SuperMani * and Iron Man *, which can be used as a base coat or on their own. Having
tried them both I would say they work best as a base coat as they do add a
shine to the nail, which does give the game away of wearing nail varnish.
The coloured Mani Masks *, are designed to
enhance your natural nail colour, whilst also strengthening your nails. My
personal preference out of the two was 'Birthday Suit', a nude shade
more accurate to my natural nail colour. The varnish itself is easy to apply
and dries very quickly and most importantly matte.

The real test for me was to see if anyone
noticed my somewhat dodgy manicure, practice does make perfect, and out of all
the people in my office only one eagle eyed person commented. This I think is a
result as I was quite apprehensive to wear varnish out of the house, this being
said I’m not sure I would go through the effort of painting my nails again.
Overall this product certainly does have
potential to encourage more men to look after their nails and for £3.99 if you fancy
trying them out I feel you won’t be disappointed. The packaging may be a little
girly but don't let this put you off as the product certainly makes up for it.
The range is available in Boots and
Superdrug and also in Marks and Spencer’s.
Have you tried the range? What are your thoughts?
