Portland England - Grooming Products | A Review

You will soon come to learn that I have a ‘thing’ for moisturiser’s. I am always on the hunt for the perfect one. One that doesn’t leave me looking shiny, feeling sticky and end up in a break out.

When I was in the Oxford Circus Topman last weekend, I spotted their new male grooming counter, which in itself was a nice surprise. The Portland England products immediately stood out because of their beautiful packaging so I went in for a closer look and I wasn’t disappointed. The smell of their products is amazing, the sea salt fragrance is very fresh and but not too fragranced to put you off using it. I ended up buying the face wash and post shave moisturizer.

I’ve been using both products for a couple of weeks and they seem to be doing a good job. The face wash is a creamy formula, which is different for me as face wash’s normally come in a liquid or foam form. This unique aspect leaves my face feeling clean without stripping my natural oils.

The moisturizer is also great, again with the sea salt fragrance, this is a medium to light weight cream, which sinks into the skin quickly and leaves it with a healthy shine. Not the kind of shine, which makes you look like a grease ball.

For £20 these aren’t cheap but if you are looking to invest in your skincare I’d recommend as a nice alternative to the traditional high street brands.

I hope this review is useful, let me know if you think you’ll try out any of The Portland England products.

  1. Loved your review. I have used the face wash and absolutely loved it. Especially as it was a cream. I am currently using the shave cream and I am enjoying that also. I was considering the moisturiser and I'm going to pick one up when I'm next in London thanks to your review :)
